I’ve been having a properly corking time making old school animations in collaboration with the crazily talented Clive Hicks-Jenkins. In this case for Sussex Lustreware in lovely Lewes. They specialise in making glorious lustreware ceramics in the style of 19th Century Sunderlandware.

Morning Light Abaft
I have finished a new painting which will be ready to ship in two weeks. I’ve started to mix wax and sand with my oil paints and I’m so happy with the results. I’ve been researching ways to get a similar matte impasto effect to my oil pastel work, and I’ve finally cracked it. This is an absolute joy to work with.
